2015 Gala & Forum 11.11

The Kennedy Forum’s 2nd Annual Illinois Forum & Gala will be held on November 11, 2015 at the Hilton Chicago.

The Annual Illinois Forum and Gala serves as tool to inspire, elevate and expand our vision of what is possible in mental health and addiction. We convene leaders from across business, government, academia and civil society for strategic dialogues which help map transformation and create a new future where where all persons are treated with dignity, inclusion, and receive the person-centered mental and physical care and support they need to thrive and achieve their goals.

Funds raised from the Gala support our work to improve the public discourse and end stigma, increase and improve integration of behavioral health into primary care, advance parity, support brain health and fitness in early childhood, and explore ways technology can improve access and quality.

The Forum portion of the event takes place from 8 am- 3:30 pm.  The Forum is free, but invitation only. You can request an invitation here. The Gala takes place at 7 pm, proceeded by a reception at 6 pm. Gala sponsors, tables and ticket sales help support The Kennedy Forum and our work.  To learn more about supporting  Gala or support us by purchasing a table or tickets can be found here:

  1. I would like to receive an invitation to Forum event on November 11th. My name is Wendy Dolin and I am the founder of MISSD. We are a Chicago based non for profit that draws attention to medication induced suicides and akathisia. We have been featured on NBC 5 Chicago and have yearly fundraisers. I was given the name of your organization from Joyce Licht Sang and would love to be invited to the Forum. I look forward to a positive response. Our organization is particularly interested in the high rate of suicides in the military. Thanks Wendy Dolin

  2. Doctors are the leading cause of Opioid addiction in America. They continue to prescribe Oxycontin like it was candy and then after the prescription runs out, their patients turn to the only available alternative; Afghanistan grown US Military protected Heroin. The greatest threat to American youth is the ignorance and arrogance of the AMA and a Federal Government that refuses to consider Marijuana as an adjuvant for pain mitigation.

Shame on us for tolerating a corrupt alcohol-based establishment and perpetuating the 1937 Nazi-era marijuana prohibition laws.
